That is such sad news to hear as we plan our 50tieth.Chip helped to launch our search for classmates for our 50tieth. He was such a cheer leader for bringing people together. He will be missed by Blgm '62. I'll remember him happy on the Mexican west coast in his bit of paradise.  Dalynn

I am so saddened to hear this news! On the wall of my office hangs a small black and white picture of Chip and I jumping off the diving board at our home on Ralston!  Joey  was next up on the board! It was my 10th birthday party!

God Speed Chippy!

On August 12, 1962, Chip and I went to the Oakland coliseum to see Ray Charles and the introduction of Stevie  Wonder.  We were two white faces in a wine dark sea.  Chip said we would never forget the concert, and he was right.  The next week he went to Russia as a graduation gift from his parents and I joined the Air Force.  We thought we would live forever.
